Ronny Janson holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and his
knowledge in various technical fields is deep and extensive. He has long experience
from working with inventions in many different fields of technology such as engines,
mining, building, control systems, medical appliances, energy systems etc.
Ronny has long experience from evaluating product development projects in order to
identify patentable matter, to draft patent applications and to process applications
vis-à-vis patent authorities worldwide. He is also experienced in corresponding
design issues.
Ronny is frequently engaged for assisting in defending his clients´ rights in
different patent and design conflicts. He also assists his clients with strategic
advice in various IP matters and in leading IP training courses.
Ronny has previously been working at the Swedish Patent Office, where he was
responsible for the professional training of Patent Examiners. Ronny has been a
member of the EPI counsel, he has been president of the Swedish Patent Attorneys
Association and also president of the Association of Swedish Patent Firms. He has
been leading IP Attorney ethics and liability courses at the Swedish IP Academy.
